Five Iraq police killed by gunmen
Insurgents in Iraq have killed five policemen at a checkpoint in the outskirts of Baghdad, police said.
The attack, carried out by some 30 gunmen, took place on a main road leading south out of the capital.
Some police officers might have been asleep at the time of the attack, an interior ministry spokesman said.
