Oklahoma bomber names third conspirator
May 5, 2005 - 6:59AM
Convicted Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols has written a letter in prison accusing a third man of involvement in the 1995 attack on a federal building that left 168 dead.
The Los Angeles Times reports that the letter claims a gun collector in Arkansas, Roger Moore, supplied binary explosives to the man who carried out the bombing, Timothy McVeigh.
Nichols says Moore was also the source of some additional bomb components recently found at Nichols' former home in Kansas.
Nichols, who has kept his silence over the past 10 years, says he now feels the record should be set straight.
Moore has repeatedly denied any involvement and he testified against Nichols about a robbery of guns and other property from his home.
