New York Times reporter sentenced to jail; Time reporter let off

John Byrne

Time Magazine reporter Matthew Cooper has agreed to testify to a grand jury investigating the leak of a covert CIA agent's identity, Valerine Plame. All charges against him were dismissed.

His agreement to testify came as an abrupt reversal. As late as last night, he said, he "went to bed ready to accept the sanctions," for not testifying. However, in a "somewhat dramatic" direct, personal communication shortly before his court appearance this afternoon, his source freed him from his obligation to confidentiality.

The other reporter called to testify, Judith Miller of the New York Times, has maintained a vow of silence not to reveal her sources. She has been sentenced to jail. She is being held in contempt, and the case's judge, US District Judge Thomas Hogan, does not believe that her refusal will last.

Now how about they go after Limbaugh, ORielly, Hannity, Fox Cable news and all the rest of the Media, that fed all the lies to the people who where sleepwalking, and did not want to make the effort to think for themselves.

They are so complicit in this war of death and carnage.

I know Indy, but when do they start to take down the whole house of cards, I think I will be in my grave, before they ever start the task.
