Please allow me to introduce ourselves...

I've had several questioners lately who would like to know more about our people, here at ReBelle Nation. I suppose it is natural to be curious about our various political or religious affiliations, so for the first time I would like to take a moment and introduce everyone.
My name, as you know is Christy, I am a mostly stay at home mother with 5 children. I created ReBelle Nation one night, drunk on nightquil, with a 104 degree fever. I mostly created it because I am a news/info junkie and everyday I was being asked constantly "What did you find today Christy?' so I created this as a basic storage space for all my friends to resource.
I keep going for the same reason I started this site, much is being hidden from us and people are HUNGRY for news. Until the MSM blackout can be cracked,we will be here.
I was raised republican, am a fallen Baptist, am now a liberal democrat and became so when they impeached Clinton. I am also beautifully mudcolored , and live in Louisiana. I am,as far as I know,the ONLY active protestor in northern Louisiana. If there are anymore around, I'd love to see it.
Meet Rossi (AKA Kangaroo)
An Aussi from Brisbane. One of the most awsome researchers I've ever know. Is extreamly up on American Politics and basic world history. Rossi was raised Catholic and became active in American politics after the recount of 2000. (She saw it coming from WAYYY down there.) Is a cancer survivor and one all around tough cookie. She houses exchange students from all over the globe. What a fantastic, huge life she has. Currently she is occupied by the arrival of beloved cousins from Italy on vacation.
Since she is not from the USA, I do not feel the need to lable her with any of our political party names. They simply in my opinion do not apply to her.
Meet Kimmy
Military wife, and mother. Also catholic and voted Republican in 2004.
Kim is currently moving and will be back to posting shortly. On July 4th we are proud to annouce her essey on, "Who is my favorite Patriot?" won in her local Fourth Celebrations.(She Picked Francis Scott Key)
Kim is also one hell of a researcher and can be amazingly helpful. Lives in Idaho and has admitted it will not go well for her if the super volcano under yellowstone blows.
Meet Tech Guy
My man. Literally. Is a full time student and graduates in December. Was a life long republican (voted for bush in 2000)until 2004 and is now a conservative democrat. An 8 year veteran of the Army and National Guard. Raised baptist, currently agnostic. Rarely posts but solves all our technical fubars. He rarely speaks but is always watching.
Meet Katherine...
A H.U.D apt complex manager and has a history of facing down crack dealers and gang members. Is I BELIEVE a registered Indy with conservative leanings. A great writer and even better researcher, and possibly the smartest person I have ever known. Is a walking historical refrence book and a dictionary/ thesaurus in clothes. Raised baptist, but is unaffiliated. Mother of 5, of which I (Christy) am the fourth.
Meet Pete...
Pete is British, and again, I do not feel his party politics apply. Pete studies plants and is a globetrotter. He is very current on enviormental and humanitarian news. His Party Palace is linked on our sidebar and is a very interesting resource. He is currently in England, I believe on holiday with his family. Probably out hugging a tree or studying the effects of shrooms on mammals. I love you man.
I have known Pete for years and never can keep up, he's all over. One day though, he owes me a Safari...Or is that me that owes him one?... Either way,, ROAD TRIP!!!
And that is our little group. I hope some of this helps clear up some issues. If you are new here, nice to meet you.
