I was just told recently, that perhaps I am TOO harsh on those I disagree with or who do not understand me. I understand perfectly. to the person who told me that I want you know I DO understand your point, and I love you.
HOWEVER, and this is a BIG however, I am no longer able to tolerate the ignorance born of apathy. And I will tell EVERYONE why.
I am a white chick in the rural northern ghettos of BumFuck Louisiana. I am surrounded by swamps filled with life, in vast stretches away from the outter parts of this nation.I can not even buy BEER in my tiny town. And I know such horrible things about this nation I cant even bring myself to share most of it with my man, my lover. He who loves me most. Not even he knows the full extent of it.
I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT I KNOW. BUT....
If I CAN know these things, I NO LONGER WILL ACCEPT PEOPLE WITH BETTER ACCESS JUST DID NOT KNOW. MY own state senators offices TOTALLY PRETENDED NOT to KNOW what the Downing St. Memo was THREE WEEKS AFTER the story broke in London. Here in the SWAMPS ...we knew the next day.
