A bus tour energized by Cindy Sheehan, mother of a soldier killed in the Iraq war who camped outside the president's Texas ranch last month, will pull into Akron today.
As part of the two-year-old ``Bring Them Home Now'' campaign, family members of killed and active troops have joined veterans of the war to travel the eastern United States, demanding an end to what they call the occupation of Iraq.
After a morning peace vigil in Cleveland, the group will present its message and take questions at New Covenant Community Church, 981 W. Market St. in Akron.
For details on the event, call the American Friends Service Committee at 330-253-7151.
