Bush hasn't sacrificed anything for Iraq war
First published: Wednesday, November 2, 2005
President Bush in his last TV speech said we must be patient, determined and continue to sacrifice. Am I wrong when I point out the only people sacrificing in this war are the brave soldiers and their families?
The only very small thing I am doing is driving a smaller, more-efficient car. Big deal.
I remember when every American gladly sacrificed during World War II. I have a message for our President: How about your beautiful, intelligent daughters getting out of their designer clothes and going over to Iraq, perhaps working in the hospitals or teaching English or, better yet, working with the children who are now orphans? Also how about fewer trips to Crawford, Texas?
