Anchor suffered various bone fractures

Latest reports indicate that NBC News anchor Bob Woodruff apparently suffered extremely serious injuries but appears to be in stable condition.
Woodruff has suffered multiple bone fractures -- including fractures in his ribs, shoulder and skull. Bomb fragments apparently penetrated his neck but not his brain.
He remains unconscious.
