3 more bodies found in block of Lower 9 (NOLA)
As I said in an earlier post to Christy, God watch over you all, if there is another attack on your soil, and this bunch of goons are left to protect her people, to soon the people forget KATRINA and the loss of so many lives, New Orleans still left dormant, not touched in six months by the members of her White House out of sight out of mind, her people scattered to the winds, her people dead and probably still buried amongst the rubbish, not found to be give Christian Burials by their families.
Absolutely shameful for the supposed to be Leading Nation of the world. I am sorry Christy but it is the truth as I see it. 7 months later, found by young student volunteers. deplorable.
one comment of DU::: The obscenity continues...
Let's see, 18 days, 7 bodies, that's one every 2-3 days. And they're not looking with cadaver dogs for these latest ones, it's visual. How many more could be found with dogs?I am glad that up to three more families will eventually be able to bury these loved ones.
Storm victims may be difficult to identify
Fire Department recovery workers, tipped off by student volunteers who were clearing Katrina debris, found three bodies on the same block in the Lower 9th Ward, a New Orleans fire chief said Monday.
The discovery of the bodies in the 2400 block of Tupelo Street, near the St. Bernard Parish line -- two of them within 20 feet of each other in the same debris pile -- brings to seven the number of bodies discovered since the special operations unit of the Fire Department resumed recovery work on March 2, said Fire Chief Steve Glynn, chief of special operations for the New Orleans Fire Department.
He said six have been found in the Lower 9th Ward, and one in Lakeview. Most have been found under the debris of collapsed or shifted houses. Only one has been found in a house that was still standing -- in an attic.
None of the bodies has been identified, and all are so badly decomposed that the Orleans Parish coroner's office couldn't determine their genders
