Italy Passes on CIA Extraditions, for Now

Italy's justice minister said he would not seek the extradition of 22 CIA officers accused of kidnapping a Muslim cleric from the streets of Milan and flying him to Egypt for interrogation. The Milan prosecutor leading the investigation, however, pledged to resubmit the extradition request once Italy's new government is in place.
