State House candidate arrested in Alachua City Hall

City Manager Clovis Watson Jr. (far right) tells Grapski that he is being charged with illegally recording a conversation with Watson on Friday. Grapski, who had filed a lawsuit over the city elections the week prior and who is running for the State House of Representatives against Alachua City Commissioner Bonnie Burgess, said he questions the motives behind the arrest. Watson said there were no motives. Grapski had committed a felony, Watson said.
