When a Columnist for the New York Times Goes BuzzFlashian, We're Either Making Progress or the "End Times" are Near

A BUZZFLASH NEWS ANALYSIS

When a columnist from the New York Times takes on the tone of BuzzFlash, you know we're starting to make some progress here.

Either that, or things are SO bad that we are just about to free fall into nuclear Armageddon.

But we could swear Frank Rich's column on May 14th might have been inspired by our recent series of editorials on the known -- and yet to be exposed -- Stalinesque illegalities at the NSA. He not only accuses the real traitors to America of being the people inhabiting the Bush Administration. Rich also is keenly aware of the tragic farce being played out on Capitol Hill of calling Hayden a "professional," when he has overseen the illegalities at the NSA and also failed as leader of the agency.

One of our favorite parts of the Rich column is his calling Congress traitors too for their praise of Hayden. After all, in addition to being a failure, a criminal, and a Bush apparatchik, Hayden also committed perjury. And at a press conference he wouldn't deny that the NSA data collection was being used for partisan political purposes. (Alberto "The Consigliere" Gonzales wouldn't answer a similar question when he testified before Congress, which pretty much confirms that the NSA IS being used for partisan political purposes.)

Yet, Dianne Feinstein, Harry Reid, the fake Republican "moderates," and, of course, all the Stepford Busheviks are lining up to stand behind Hayden, a man who is not good for the national security of America -- let alone his violations of the rule of law.

The Democratic leadership in Congress appears to confirm the emerging nickname of "jellocrats" in that they are still afraid to seriously take on a President who has a 29% rating in the polls. Two out of three Americans disapprove of Bush's performance. What are the jellocrats waiting for?

And the jellocrats are still paralyzed by the words "war on terrorism." Bush has lost the war on terrorism in so many ways it will merit a separate editorial we are developing on our recent visit to Ground Zero in New York City. Unless, the jellocrats defang the reptilian whip of fear produced by the use of the phrase and propaganda associated with the "war on terrorism" and "9/11," then they will continue to enable Bush's incompetence and brazen illegal actions.

The jellocrats are condoning UnConstitutional activities (law breaking) by not denouncing nominations like Hayden that are dangerous for America.

Thank God, BuzzFlash is seeing some reinforcements in the mainstream press finally emerge.

Thank you, Frank Rich, after six years online, it's nice to see someone coming up from the rear to the front lines of the battle for the future of democracy and out national security -- with a fierce sense of outrage, patriotism and common sense.
