Bush's date of birth (DOB) is listed as July 6, 1976, which means that Bush would have been only a few months old when he was arrested for DWI on Sept. 4, 1976. Legal sources say this is not a typo but the result of a previous arrest record being scrubbed by changing the birth date to establish a new unblemished record. It is a common practice that is well known to many prosecutors and defense attorneys. Questions remain about Bush's previous arrests, which sources in Houston claim included a cocaine bust in Houston in 1972 or 1973 when Bush was serving in the Texas Air National Guard. Those records were also meticulously scrubbed.
