Five U.S. soldiers are being investigated for allegedly raping a young woman, then killing her and three relatives, an American military official said Friday, describing the latest allegations of abuse of Iraqi civilians. U.S. Soldiers Investigated for Rape and Murder
Five U.S. soldiers are being investigated for allegedly raping a young woman and then killing her and three members of her family in March, the US military said today, with one of the soldiers said to have already confessed his role in the killings. The men are suspected of burning the young woman’s body to hide evidence of their crime.
