Eight Canadians were killed in Lebanon, Canada's foreign affairs minister said. "Pending further information and contact with their families all we can say is that there are eight confirmed casualties," Peter MacKay told television broadcaster CTV. He added that six others have been critically injured. "We're actively pursuing as much information as quickly as possible," MacKay said.
