...Journalists in occupied Iraq are reporting that the US-installed puppet regime appears to have begun a campaign of repression and intimidation against journalists in the country, even those writing for the news media based in the west. The Iraqi journalist Gulshan al-Bayati, a contributor to the London-based Arabic newspaper al-Hayat was arrested by the puppet "Interior Ministry" on 11 September. She was released two days later, but then it was reported that Dr. Fadil a-Badrani, Iraqi correspondent for Reuters News Agency, was arrested upon his arrival at the funeral of his brother in al-Fallujah on Thursday morning, 14 September.
