Al Jazeera Launches English Network...

Today marks the launch of Al Jazeera International, the English version of theMiddle East network that has gained particular prominence since September 11, 2001, and during the war on terror. Broadcasting from K Street in Washington, D.C. are former "Nightline" anchor Dave Marash and Ghida Fakhry, who has held several positions with different Middle East-based networks, with former U.S. Marine Josh Rushing.

Al Jazeera International will reach 70 million homes worldwide, though it won't be carried by Comcast and will be hard to find due to its limited carriage (it's streaming on the web here, though).
