The Evangelical camp featured in the documentary 'Jesus Camp' has been discontinued due to vandalism, and other negative reactions sparked by the film, according to a report in yesterday's Houston Chronicle.

"We have decided to hold different activities in future," Pentecostal pastor and camp organizer Becky Fischer said.

The film gained attention when the trailers went public showing the children who are sent to camp to pray before an effigy of George Bush, and trained to protest abortion at very early ages.

It then gained further noteriety when it was noted that the film featured former Evangelical leader Ted Haggard -- former paster of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, and former advisor to George Bush -- after admonishing homosexuals in the documentary was involved in a gay sex and drug scandal.

In the following video clip, Ted Haggard is seen condemning homosexuality. Immediately below that is the film's trailer.
