DeLay: I've got the election behind me. I'm looking forward to the future. I'm very excited about the opportunities that having a Democratic majority offer to conservatives (laughter).

The Hill: So where did you get the idea for the blog?
DeLay: Well, it is sort of a combination of things that I thought were lacking in supporting the Republican majority as well as what the Republican majority was not providing their constituencies and their supporters. And looking at different things. I think I'm as responsible for this as anybody. We don't do communications very well.
