CHRISTMAS DAY 2006 is almost with us and our thoughts turn to the Birth of Jesus Christ and to Reverence for Mother and Child which is the common belief of all decent people. It being Christmas and because horrendous events in the Holy Land and the Middle East are so much in the fore of daily news reports, I have written a contemporary ANNOTATION of the Story of the Birth of Jesus as told in Matthew Chapter 2 of the beautiful King James version of the Holy Bible.
