Roads to Iraq

Janaury 11, 2007This is a video clip from a documentary [I don’t have the full documentary] about life in Iraq before the "first Gulf war" 1991.

I don’t want to start a political discussion here, I just want to show you this part of our life and history which is I am sure totally unknown for many people around the net.

You see here "Fikri Bashir" member of Bashir’s family [Munir: the most famous, Fikri and Jamil].

The brothers Bashir are all well known in Iraq for their contribution to Iraqi traditional Music.

Also appears in the clip, "Agnes Bashir" [my Piano teacher].
