Three U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq

Three American soldiers were killed and five others were wounded in Iraq in separate incidents, the U.S. military said in a statement on Monday. A soldier assigned to the 89th Military Police Brigade died Sunday of wounds sustained in a roadside bomb blast near his vehicle in north of Baghdad, the statement said. Another soldier was killed and four others were wounded when a roadside bomb went off near their patrol in Baghdad on Sunday, the military said in a separate statement.
