THE U.S. CRIES "FOUL"

China recently blew one of its old weather satellites to smithereens. This upset the U.S. immensely, mostly because it was not aware that China had the technology to take out a satellite in space with a missile. Here are a few headlines of January 20, 2007: * West Fears Space Arms Race After China Missile Test: The Australian * Governments Protest China’s Space Missile Test: ABC * U.S. Calls on China to Explain Anti-Satellite Weapon: Voice of America * China Tests Anti-Satellite Weapon, Unnerving U.S.: International Herald Tribune. Where were these media a few months ago when George Bush stated that the U.S. owns outer space and will take out any satellite it wishes? He made these statements, yet few reported. Now, China blows up an outdated satellite and the reports infer there may be a world crisis and a huge arms race in space...
