It has got to be said that the "execution" of Saddam Hussain has gone down as well as the unsinkable Titanic on its maiden journey, with condemnation for the murder coming from all sections of the political and social sphere. It can never be forgotten, the justification for the war and invasion was based on Iraq stock piling and developing weapons of mass destruction and not about the human rights abuses under Saddam’s regime. Whilst one of the guards allegedly shouted at Saddam, "You have destroyed us", as they tied the noose around the Presidents neck, Amnesia must have struck the guard as he clearly forgot that it was Madeline Albright who said, the child deaths brought on by Sanctions was a "price worth paying"...
