Lost plane discovery proves false

Rescuers in central Indonesia were on Tuesday trying to locate the wreckage of a missing passenger jet, despite reports from aviation and transport officials that the crash site -- and survivors -- had been found.

The false reports have taken their toll on the families of the 102 people aboard the Adam Air flight, many of whom have flown to near where the plane is believed to have gone down to find out more information about their loved ones.
