Heads of ‘death squads’ escape punishment

The current security plan in which tens of thousands of U.S. and Iraqi troops are involved to pacify Baghdad was thought to target members and leaders of death squads. Today the security plan goes on but there is no sign of any of those who took part or led these squads of death. Their leaders were given ample time to flee and hide and their members have simply melted down in the population. The question is who helped them to escape and who warned them that they might be targeted if they remained in Baghdad. The atrocities committed by these squads which are linked directly or indirectly to certain individuals in the government are as worse as those attributed to terrorists and criminals. But the government only focuses on what it calls 'terrorists and saddamists’ at a time it ignores the crimes of these squads. The government even provides justifications for the killings by these squads when saying that their actions are a response to terrorist acts targeting their areas...
