Shame on the Washington Post, Again

The article has the look and feel of an attempt to influence the jury

The Washington Post is at it again, publishing an extraordinary smear directed at special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald and former Ambassador Joseph Wilson whose wife, CIA officer Valerie Plame, was outed by the Bush administration as it sought to counter Wilson's Iraq War criticism. The Post Outlook section featured an article by a right-wing lawyer arguing that Fitzgerald and Wilson deserve to be "indicted." To illustrate the story, the Post photoshopped their faces into criminal "mug shots." The timing comes as a Washington jury is about to start deliberating in the perjury/obstruction trial of former White House aide Scooter Libby for allegedly lying about his role in leaking Plame's identity.
