Report: 2 more journalists killed in Iraq; 152 dead during war

BAGHDAD (CNN) -- Two journalists were found dead over the weekend in Baghdad, according to the group Reporters Without Borders, bringing to 152 the number of journalists killed in Iraq since the United States invaded that country in March 2003.

Mohan Hussein al-Dhahr was killed Sunday in a botched abduction outside his home in east Baghdad, RWB said in a statement on its Web site. Al-Dhahr, 49, was the editor of the daily newspaper al-Mishrak. He was shot several times as he tried to escape the kidnappers, the statement said.

The bullet-riddled body of Jamal Riyah al-Zoubaidi was found Saturday in the al-Amil district in Baghdad's southeast. He was abducted sometime after leaving the offices of the newspaper As-Safir on Feb. 23. (Posted 4:04 p.m.)
