Snow says offer for interviews would be withdrawn if subpoenas are issued for White House staffers
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- White House spokesman Tony Snow said Wednesday that the offers to have key White House aides give interviews about the firings of eight U.S. attorneys would be withdrawn if congressional committees went ahead with the issuing of subpoenas to force the aides to testify under oath.
"If they issue subpoenas, the offer is withdrawn," Snow told reporters in the daily briefing.
