Blair On His Legacy: "I'm Content To Be Judged In The Long Term"

Britain's prime minister believes his legacy will be "judged in the long term" and he defended his decision to engage in an aggressive foreign policy, saying Sunday that the intervention in Iraq and Afghanistan was obligatory.

People will eventually understand why Britain needed to act decisively, Tony Blair told the British Broadcasting Corp. in an interview at his office.
