Toward the end of the first Republican Party debate for the 2008 Presidential election, MSNBC host Chris Matthews gave the candidates a chance to sound off on why they believed Senator Hillary Clinton was unfit to be President. One Republican candidate asked if the moderator was joking, appearing to recognize what an easy opportunity the question could represent to the debaters as they hoped to score points with some members of the Republican Party base.
