Coalition: Airstrike kills Afghan children, militants

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- U.S.-led coalition and Afghan troops used airstrikes against a compound suspected of housing al Qaeda militants in eastern Afghanistan, and seven children were believed to be among the dead, the coalition said in a statement Monday.
