The New Bush-Blair Vanity Play

The choice of ex-British Prime Minister Tony Blair as a new envoy to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has officials on all sides scratching their heads. One former top Israeli intelligence official confided a two-word assessment in English: "It's nuts." The reaction of Arabs -- still furious over Blair's role in the invasion and occupation of Iraq -- is certain to be even harsher.
