Yeah, but who among us wouldn't love to have a beer with George W. Bush?

At the "Take Back America" conference today, Media Matters' David Brock took note of the one-sided way in which the mainstream press tends to characterize the presidential candidates. Brock notes that Rudy Giuliani is always a "hero" from 9/11, John McCain is inevitably a straight-talking "maverick," and Mitt Romney "looks like a president," while the Democratic contenders are often portrayed as "inexperienced, inauthentic, lightweight, shrill, cold, calculating hypocrites."
Just in time to prove the point,
Greg Sargent checks the wires and finds the Associated Press' Ron Fournier wondering if the junior senator from New York ought to be called "Slick Hillary."
