As the only nation to ever use nukes on people and the nation that backed Saddam

In attacking Iran and as the nation that literally kept Saddam in power until he was of little use to us, the US has absolutely no moral authority to attack Iran or its president. While most of the MSM will only deal with his statements on homosexuals in Iran and will continue to try to make his statement about the holocaust something he did not say, the Iranian president gave a profound opening statement which will probably...no ...certainly go over the heads of most of the RW-evangelicals and other conservatives in this country. Can anyone in their wildest imagination envision Bush being able to speak confronting anything other than a totally rehearsed audience of friendlies?

As Ahmadinejad was speaking at Columbia,we need to recall that
In July 1988 a US.aircraft carrier, the USS Vincennes shot down a civilian airliner in broad daylight killing all 290 people on board.George Herbert Walker Bush who was President at the time outdid his son now by claiming he would not express any remorse and would not apologize to the Iranian people. In view of all that has happened in the past seven years, would it not be appropriate to ask the question was that Iranian airliner shot down to increase Bush's electoral chances?
