BOSTON, Oct. 29, 2007 (Thomson Financial delivered by Newstex) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday said it would consider whether Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE:XOM) should have to pay any of the $2.5 billion in punitive damages related to the Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989, according to media reports.
