Celtics PR director says White House dog bit her

BOSTON -- President Bush's dog Barney apparently bit another White House visitor.

Boston Celtics public relations director Heather Walker acknowledged a published report Friday that Barney bit her wrist and drew blood as she tried to pat the dog after a White House ceremony honoring the team's 17th NBA championship.

Walker said she had wanted to keep the Sept. 19 incident under wraps, but her hometown newspaper, The Salem (Mass.) News, reported it on Friday.

Walker says White House staff offered help, but a Celtics' team physician applied an adhesive bandage to her wound. LinkHere
