2 US troops killed in Taliban attack

QANDHAR CHAMAN (SANA NEWS) - At least two US troops on Friday were killed while eleven others injured in a missile attack by Taliban on US airbase in Qandhar, Afghanistan. The attack was carried out by a time missile, which also damaged six vehicles of coalition forces. The missile hit the parking area of the US airbase. Taliban commander Mullah Bacha Akhund claimed responsibility of the attack. After the attack, the US forces arrested several persons from the surrounding areas on suspicion of being Taliban. Meanwhile, in another incident, a US soldier was shot dead by the militants of Hizb-e-Islami in the city of Ghazni when they attacked an American armed vehicle. Two US troops also received injuries in this assault. The US forces blocked the Qandhar highway after the incident.
