Why the Democrats Lost 2004; Michael Moore
I do not usually attack members of my own party. It is just simply not something that usually occurs to me, without damning evidence of lying or corruption. But I am about to do so now.
During 2004, I do not think anyone who saw the movie Farenheit 911, and I mean the people who ACTUALLY SAW IT, simply just turned away with no questions. No matter what your party, nor age, the information in that movie was likely to piss off ANYONE who has ANY measure of love for our nation. Not too long ago, I asked an activist, located in D.C. a simple question.
"WHY did the Dems not embrace Michael Moore during the run up to the election..?" Her answer stunned me.
"Because he is not a democrat."
For some time I let this go, then again a few days ago, an activist from L.A. got onto the topic with me. Again I asked the same question. This time the answer infuriated me.
"Michael Moore is not a democrat, you know." She said. "What Michael Moore did, he did not do FOR DEMOCRATS."
Now. If you are a thinned skinned dem who gets offended easily, I suggest you turn away now.
WHEN EXACTLY did democrats become more stupid than dirt? WHEN EXACTLY did it become a rule that ANYONE not a DEM, or working for dems, had to be tossed away no matter HOW IMPORTANT their work is?
WHEN IN GODS NAME DID TRUTH TELLERS ONLY MATTER IF THEY ARE IN YOUR PARTY...?
As far as I am concearned Michael Moore is a TRUE AMERICAN HERO. He is not only very brave and smart, he also DID OUR JOBS FOR US. But according to democrats all over THAT WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
What Michael Moore did was expose one of the greatest threats within our nation that we have perhaps EVER faced. Between the vote rigging, the attacks on 911, and illegally killing a SHITLOAD of Iraqis, he SUMMED IT ALL UP. And gift wrapped it for us. And you know what... Those who say he did NOT do it for democrats, you are PERFECTLY CORRECT. He DID IT FOR OUR COUNTRY.
I will not even get into my dissapointment in John Kerry. But let me tell you what John Kerrys actions made me aware of. The ELITE who are DEMOCRATS...THEY DO NOT WANT YOUR VOTE TO COUNT EITHER. Why..?
Well ,because they, after all, are the ELITE. Why did John Kerry NOT embrace a truth teller like Michael Moore? BECAUSE THEN HE WOULD BE FORCED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Kinda hard to get your ass off your wifes pile of money and fight for the people who have NOTHING. The ELITE Dems who are at the top of the foodchain STILL CONSIDER us the unwashed masses, and they would rather eat their own than upset the millionaire boys club. I personally am sick of it.
I am also personally offended by those in my own party that would cut away a Michael Moore; yet keep an apologist and weakling like Donna Brazille pressed to your bosom. Do I personally know Ms. Brazille..? NO I DO NOT BUT I SEE HER ON TV ALL THE TIME TRYING TO MAKE EXCUSES FOR REPUBLICANS. That is all I NEED to know of her. If you tell me I should play nice BECAUSE she is a dem, I say fuck that, she is NO FRIEND TO ME. Nor to the TRUTH.
And that, in the end, is all that matters.
If you want to know WHY democrats are not winning, I say look to their respect of the true facts. Look at how they would rather SCREW their own than embrace someone who is evenly critical of EVERYONE. The TRUTH ITSELF is not just a democratic virtue. It is an assembly of undisputed facts that lay out a path to the logical conclusion. If you do not like the message it is not your RIGHT to SHOOT the messenger.
But apparently, that is EXACTLY what you have done to Michael Moore and the tragedy of it, is only outshone by your obvious dismissal of wether or not it actually MATTERS.
THE TRUTH WILL ALWAYS BE RELEVENT. So will those that dare speak it.
Until the Democrats, especially the dem leaders, get over themselves and QUIT dismissing any TRUTH they do not like, or they may be implicated in, the democrats will continue to lose. And, if, it is now a party rule to ONLY embrace those that tell the DEMOCRATS view of truth, then I may be indy by the next stolen election.
And the next time someone comes along and DOES OUR WORK FOR US, perhaps the democrats with some common sense will show up, too. Until the truth itself, is no longer a hostage to party politics, then NOTHING WILL CHANGE. There WILL BE NO better days to come.
And, Michael Moore...?
