A KNOCK AT THE DOOR IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT

Editors Note: As victims of unauthorized spying and political retribution by the Bush Administration we reprint the following Newsweek commentary. For some time Emerald Coast Times Publishing, Inc. and Insider-Magazine.com has been the target of continued internet attacks and domestic surveillance by the Defense Intelligence Agency.

We firmly believe that such attacks were based upon our opposition to the war in Iraq and our association with former National Security Agency staffers like Wayne Madsen and other intelligence community operatives who are fed up with the wanton and reckless abuse of power by the Bush Administration.

In addition we were instrumental in uncovering and publishing investigative stories linking the President and his brother Jeb personally benefiting from criminal enterprises that have been subject to secret federal grand jury probes in Florida and Georgia, now being revealed in the mainstream media. See recent Tampa Tribune articles dealing with Aztec Environmental, Big Wheel Recycling and top GOP operatives.

Last February we published brutally bloody photos that Valdosta, Ga. police say didn't exist of a very dead and murdered Florida Department of Transportation investigator Raymond Lemme. Police said that Lemme committed suicide that there were no photos or autopsy and his body was quickly cremated. The photos were uncovered showed a man who had been beaten about his face, tortured and cut up in the bath tub.

Based upon an extensive investigation we believe Lemme had uncovered a web of high treason from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration selling our military secrets to China with the help of the Bush White House.

One thing is certain, we are absolutely sure our telephones conversations have been monitored, our sources compromised and our lives disrupted by a criminal (dictatorship) that has seized control of our nation. We've been following this gang of thugs since George Sr. and Iran-Contra.

Many of you forgot that W's daddy and this same crowd of crooks were run out of office after bankrupting the nations banks and savings and loans. They are the ones who dumped cocaine onto Americas school grounds turning the nation into la la land and hamburger flippers. At the same time they parlayed the ignorant of America into a great Moral Majority. They are the people who gave us the far right winger religious nuts who have adopted the Cultist Assembly of God End Time solution for mankind that includes preemptive nuclear warfare.

Because of our relentless quest for truth during the past 3 years we have been subjected to brutal and severe political retribution in the state of Florida where printing houses were threatened by the Bush crowd and forced to deny us the right to publish our street magazine, Emerald Coast Insider. As a result we were forced to publish the magazine in Ohio until transportation costs became prohibitive.

In our last street edition of November 2003, Florida Express Lane Store managers were ordered to remove our magazines from shelves and to lock them up, depriving us and our readers of their free speech. It came as little surprise that President Bush's transition team member and St. Joe Company lobbyist William Harrison was responsible for issuing the order that cost us thousands in lost revenue.

Since going on-line to defeat this gang of White-House and Governors Mansion thugs we have experienced denial of service attacks and recently seen a drop in a great number of readers able to reach our web-site due to "electronic filters" deployed against us and we no longer show up on search engines. We firmly believe this is due to officially sponsored Patriot Act and U.S.
government design and we are going to take our case to Congress when they meet in January.

We have complained to the FBI and our web-hosting provider Yahoo.com on many occasions. Our complaints have fallen on deaf ears. We have had thousands of bogus emails containing worms and viruses spawned from our site sent to law firms and major U.S. corporations and we've had enough of this so-called democracy! We have become the Enemy because of what we write, simple words, that apparently have become mightier than a sword to a White House drunk intoxicated with power.

Remember, Just because we are paranoid doesn't mean that they are not out to get us and we're rightly worried that awful knock at the door will come in the dead of night when we disappear into the rat maze of never ending federal detention... Let's Impeach the self-serving Bastard!
