Two intelligence agents beheaded

THE beheaded bodies of two Afghani intelligence agents have been found dumped in western Afghanistan as the first of thousands of British troop reinforcements arrived in the south, officials say.
The intelligence agents had been captured in Farah province two days ago by suspected remnants of the Taliban regime ousted in 2001, provincial governor Hazatullah Wasefi said.
Their bodies were found in a desert near the Iranian border, Mr Wasefi said.
"We don't know exactly who might have done it. But it seems that it was the brutalities of the Taliban," provincial police chief Sayed Agha Saqeb added. >>cont
