Israeli Tanks Meet Fierce Resistance

Israeli tanks pushed into populated areas in Gaza Thursday for the first time since reentering the Gaza Strip last week and met fierce resistance from Palestinians using rocket-propelled grenades, roadside mines and rifles to slow their advance.
