Someone has to say it
FACT OR FICTION, FAIR AND BALANCED, YOU DECIDE
Truth About Iraqis
October 9, 2006
Just a few minutes, stopping by to say things that should be said.
1. Iraq was better off under President Saddam Hussein AND the Baath Party
2. Many Iraqis long for the stability and security during the days of Saddam Hussein AND the Baath Party but will not say so publicly for a myriad of reasons they know all too well.
3. Both 2 & 3 are indicators of how disastrous the US affair in Iraq has been.
4. All 1, 2, & 3 are indicators of how desperate Iraqis have become to be able to have their children go to school without fearing kidnappings, assassinations by US-trained death squads, murder by US-trained police or suicide bombings which were unheard of prior to the US invasion..
5. The Middle East is going through its most difficult period since World War I because of the Iraq war and subsequent US policies.
6. The US war on terror has resuscitated radical groups, not driven them into hiding.
7. The Iraqi National Resistance is the only hope for Iraq.
8. Nationalism and Secularism are two pillars which could save Iraq from utter ruin.
9. Saddam Hussein was right about what will befall Iraq if the US military invades.
10. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was right when he said instead of one Bin Laden you will have 1000.
11. Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa was right when he said invading Iraq would open the gates of hell.
12. Iraqi nationalists were right when they said the plan all along was to divide Iraq.
13. I would like to see what happens to all the Iraqis who supported the US invasion and occupation of their country and brought it to disaster and despair.
14. The Kurds have not been interested in a united Iraq since 1966.
15. The US military and political presence - and by default, its positioning of various entities in Iraqi politics - is the single greatest contributing factor to the civilian and sectarian strife we see today.
16. The goal has always been to destroy Iraq as a nation and to drive Iraqis - some of the most skilled work force in the Middle East - into refugee status.
