... Country Liberal Party (CLP) leader Jodeen Carney says Mr Hicks should be tried within months, or brought home.
"I'm sure that if the Government believe that he poses a threat, the Government can implement appropriate measures," she said.
"But when we have one of our citizens sitting in a prison cell for five years without charge, with no immediate prospect of trial, all Australians should be concerned about that."
A Federal Government deadline for Mr Hicks to be charged by November has passed and Ms Carney says it is not acceptable ...
