On March 11, a MND-B unit in support of an on-going air assault mission southwest of the Iraqi capital was struck by a roadside bomb, killing one Soldier and wounding two others. (CENTCOM). Task Force Lightning Soldiers were attacked while conducting combat operations in Salah ad Din province today. One Task Force Lightning Soldier died as a result of injuries sustained from an explosion. (CENTCOM). A Marine assigned to Multi National Force-West was killed Sunday while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar Province. (MNF - Iraq). A Multi-National Division – Baghdad Soldier died March 11, due to a non-battle related cause. (MNF - Iraq) (Tikrit?) A Task Force Lightning Soldier died Sunday in a non-combated related incident, which is currently under investigation. (CENTCOM). A roadside bomb blasted an Agriculture Ministry convoy in southeastern Baghdad, killing three security guards and wounding another, officials said.
