Like George W. Bush, not only is McCain in denial over the U.S. military disaster in Iraq but McCain's wife Cindy has reportedly increasingly been in the company of a close (and younger) male friend. Laura Bush has also been relying on the personal support of a close male friend, a wealthy Texas businessman, according to our well-placed Washington social sources.
