Keith Olbermann interviewed Barack Obama on Countdown tonight, and Obama had some harsh words for John McCain and his campaign. He accused the McCain campaign of "not telling the truth," and said that they "stretch the bounds of spin into new areas." Obama warned that people should be "troubled" by the McCain campaign's "false assertions."

Obama also criticized Sarah Palin, linking her closely to George Bush. Obama said there's "no area of economic or foreign policy where she differs with President Bush," and that "if John McCain agrees with Bush 90% of the time, then Sarah Palin agrees with Bush 97% of the time."
