COVINGTON — Initial court hearings have been held for all eight suspects arrested in connection with the death of an Oklahoma woman who allegedly was killed after a disagreement at a Ku Klux Klan initiation.

Shane Foster, 20, and Frank Stafford, 21, went before a judge Friday. They and five other suspects, whose hearings were held Tuesday, are charged with obstruction of justice in the case. All five are being held on bonds of $500,000 each.

An eighth man, Raymond "Chuck" Foster, is being held without bond. The alleged leader of a Washington Parish KKK group is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Cynthia Lynch, 43, of Tulsa. Authorities say she was recruited to join the group but was killed when she decided to leave the ritual Sunday ...
