Shot cameraman held by military

A CAMERAMAN wounded in Iraq while filming for CBS News had now been detained by US-led military forces, the network said today.The Pentagon said the cameraman was arrested and was being investigated as to whether or not he was "more than an observer" of insurgent activities, CBS News said.
The freelance cameraman, who was not named by the network, was shot on Tuesday in Mosul.
The Pentagon said at the time that forces mistook his camera for a weapon and shot him, CBS News said.
The cameraman, who was treated at a military hospital, has worked for CBS News in Mosul for about three months.
CBS News said it was continuing its own investigation into the incident.
